THE HAMMER FILES

THE EVIDENCE SHREDDED BY THE SYSTEM.

My office hasn’t just been hit—the System ran a cleaner through the archive. As you can see, the files are a random mess because the Controller scrambled the Index and shuffled the ledger. A grayscale, high-contrast pulp-noir graphic novel panel shows Jack Hammer, a burly man in a trench coat and fedora, confronting a female performer on a small stage in a dimly lit, gritty dive bar. She stands by a microphone, looking at him with a serious, warning expression, implying danger. The bar's name, "The Blue Note," is faintly visible in the background.
